Lola Mae Cray, age 82, passed away suddenly at her home on September 12, 2021.
Lola was born in Eminence, Missouri on August 19, 1939 to the late Earnest Prewett and Melissa Brawley.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, John Dennis Cray; her twin sister, Dola Fay Burrus; and her brothers, Roy Prewett, Jerry Prewett, Junior Prewett and Danny Derryberry.
Lola had 6 children and is survived by her only daughter, Diane Johnson (Scott); and her sons, John Cray (Carol); Ernie Cray (Angie); Tom Cray (Delana); Jimmy Cray (Penny); and Bobby Cray; grandchildren, Melissa, Mindy, Megan, Susan, Sherry, Christopher, Jennifer, Nathan, James, Ashley, T.J., Danielle, and Amber; and many special great and great-great grandchildren.
Lola was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She lived her life as a homemaker raising babies. She loved to drink coffee, read romance novels, bird watch, play bingo, watch soap operas and crime shows on tv, and go to the beach with her daughter. She will be greatly missed by her entire family.
