Lottie Tidwell

Lottie Mae Tidwell, 74, passed away peacefully at her daughter�s residence on Monday, September 20, 2010. Born January 15, 1936 in White, she was the daughter of the late John Ray and the late Maxie Lee Whitener Ray. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, J.W. Ray and Ralph Ray.



A resident of Adairsville, Lottie retired from Spring City Knitting. In her later years, she was a caretaker for the elderly. Lottie was also a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister, and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.



Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Kathleen Tidwell and Harold and Debbie Tidwell, all of Adairsville; her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Daniel Semon of Adairsville; eleven grandchildren and their spouses, Jessica and Joe Stover, T.C. and Danae Tidwell, Timothy Tidwell, Sunney Cooper, LeeAnn and Aaron Hight, Melissa and Dustin Graham, Heather Spurgeon, Angela and Seth King, Timothy (Bubba) Spurgeon Jr., D.J. Semon and Stephanie Semon; thirteen great-grandchildren, Morgan and Kaitlynn Tidwell, Michael Hight, Sheridan Cooper, Branden Spurgeon, Kristian Manley, Christopher Tidwell, Samuel and Alyssa Graham, AnnaBella King, Dawson Semon, Evan Damphier and Ethan Damphier; her brother, Robert Ray of Adairsville; and several nieces and nephews.



Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 23, 2010 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Fred Roland Lee and Rev. Harvey Gayton officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Rydal.



Serving as pallbearers will be T.C. Tidwell, Timothy Tidwell, Timothy Spurgeon Jr., Joe Stover, Aaron Hight, Freddie Ray, Doyle Smith, and Seth King. These gentlemen are requested to meet at the funeral home by 10:15 a.m. on Thursday.



The family will receive friends from 5 � 8 p.m. Wednesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
