Louise D. Bennett, 84, of Adairsville passed away Sunday, May 16, 2010 at her residence. Born March 16, 1926 in Cartersville, she was the daughter of the late Monk Dishroom and the late Lillie Lowe Dishroom. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James David Guyton; her son, Charles Guyton; her daughter, Minnie Sue Guyton; and her grandsons, James Wilbanks and Houston Wilbanks.
Louise was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and playing with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons, Raymond Guyton of White and Marvin �Buck� Guyton of Adairsville; her daughters, Dorothy Wilbanks of Adairsville, Mary Bennett of White, Nancy Baker of Adairsville, and Lilly Rose McGill of Cartersville; fifteen grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2010 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with the Rev. Charles Ghorley officiating. Burial will follow in the Church of God of the Union Assembly Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Raymond Guyton, Eugene Bennett, David Bennett, Jeff Wilbanks, Jimmy Bennett, and Donnie Abernathy. These gentlemen are asked to be at the funeral home by 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
The family will receive friends from 5 � 9 p.m. Tuesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
