Louise Ledford Nelson, 93, of Cartersville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Townsend Park Health & Rehab Center.
She was a native of Bartow County, born on September 2, 1923, the daughter of the late Kimsey Monroe Ledford and Odessa Woodall Ledford Brooks. Mrs. Nelson was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed sewing, making crafts and flowers. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Nelson, and her sister, Dellilah Ledford Christopher.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 12, 2016 in Sunset Memory Gardens with The Reverend Ronnie Howard officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Sunday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation.
