Loyce Rodgers

May 6, 1950 — June 5, 2024

Mrs. Loyce P. Rodgers, 74 of Rome, Georgia, was welcomed home with open arms on June 5, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Centre, Alabama to the late Robert Pierce and the late Mary Phillips. She follows her husband Johnny Rodgers in death.

She is survived by her children, Sheryl Rodgers and John N. Rodgers; sisters Joyce Wilson and Barbara McDaniel; brothers Danny E. Pierce and Terry Pierce; as well as 17 grandkids and 10 great grandkids.

Loyce was loved by a lot of people and is missed by all. She was known for her smile, love, and kindness. She would do anything for anyone and would never think twice about it. Her family loved her and selflessly cared for her until the very end. She always reminded them "this is not goodbye... this is until we meet again."

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the help and love received from Laurann Rodgers, Josh Rodgers, Josh McCurry, and many others who helped her in her time of need.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm in the funeral home's chapel with Reverend Keith Willard officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
