Mamie Estelle Cline Martin

June 21, 1917 — March 11, 2025

Mamie Estelle Cline Martin, age 107, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025, in Cartersville, Georgia. She was born in June 1917 in Cherokee County, Georgia, and grew up in Waleska as the sixth of nine children. She was the last surviving member of her siblings, marking the end of a remarkable generation.

Mamie dedicated 45 years of hard work to EZ Mills, where she was known for her diligence, kindness, and steady presence. Outside of work, she found joy in crafts, sewing, and knitting—skills she used to bless her family and friends with handmade gifts filled with love.

A woman of unwavering faith, Mamie's life was built upon her strong Christian beliefs. She was a devoted follower of Christ, living out her faith through her love, generosity, and prayers for those around her. Her family often found comfort in her wisdom, her gentle spirit, and her steadfast trust in God's plan. She served as a living testament to grace and perseverance, leaving behind a legacy of love and faithfulness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Wesley Cline and Alice Lenore Daniel Cline; all of her siblings; and her beloved grandchildren, Kenny Curtis and Sherry Curtis.

Mamie is survived by her loving sons, Jerry Curtis and Kenny Martin; her cherished grandchildren: Denise Curtis Jessup, Jerry Curtis Jr., Barry Curtis, Alice Curtis, Michelle Curtis Vincent, Lewis Martin, and Kevin Martin; as well as 26 great-grandchildren, 33 great-great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-great- grandchildren. Her love extended across generations, and her influence will continue to be felt for years to come.

A celebration of Mamie's incredible life will be held at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM. The family invites all who knew and loved her to join them in remembering and honoring her legacy.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to a charity of your choice, continuing Mamie's spirit of kindness and generosity.

Her life was a beautiful example of faith, perseverance, and unconditional love. While she will be deeply missed, her family takes comfort in knowing she is now resting in the arms of her Savior, reunited with those who went before her.
