Marcus Joel Pickel, infant son of Kyle Lee Pickel and Shannon Collins Pickel passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston.
Born in Cartersville on May 7, 2013 he was preceded in death by his grandfather Joel Pickel.
Survivors include his parents, Kyle and Shannon Pickel of Cartersville; his sister, Abigail Pickel of Cartersville; his grandparents, Audrey Pickel of Cartersville, and John and Teresa Lowe of Taylorsville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2013 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Wright officiating. Interment will follow in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be James Finchum and Ricky Ledford. These gentlemen are asked to be at the funeral home by 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
