Margaret Hazel

Mrs. Margaret Ann Lee Hazel, 85, of Cartersville, widow of the late Reverend Don Hazel, died Thursday, July 25, 2019 at her residence.

Born September 7, 1933 in Whitehouse, Tennessee, she was a daughter of the late Martin Lee and the late Pauline Palmer Lee. Mrs. Hazel was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was a faithful pastor's wife that fulfilled the role of a servant. She was an accomplished artist and was active at the senior center. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings; and a grandson, Christopher Hazel.

Survivors include her sons, Ed Hazel and his wife Nancy, Randall Hazel, and Dwayne Hazel and his wife Rebecca; grandchildren, Jennifer Clayton and her husband Josh, Jessica Hazel, Ashley Hazel Cambre and her husband Scott, and Daniel Hazel and his wife Diane; great-grandchildren, Brook , Carter, Ethan, and Annabelle; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 29, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Reverend Richard Webster officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family strongly suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Bartow County Senior Center, 102 Zena Drive, Cartersville, GA 30121, in memory of Mrs. Hazel.
