Margaret Hodges

Ms. Margaret Shannon Hodges age 79, of Rome, GA, died Thursday, August 26, 2010.



Ms. Hodges was born in Greenbrier, TN on July 16, 1931, the daughter of the late James Shannon and Lena Margaret Cotton Shannon. She was a longtime member of West Rome United Methodist Church and retired from Floyd County Tax Office as a clerk.



Survivors include a son, Chuck Hodges (Vicki Carter) of Canton, GA; a daughter and son-in-law, Martie Keesee (Mark) of Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Bobby and Drew Hodges and Kyle, Tyler, and Jacob Keesee; a brother and sister-in-law, Pat and Pati Shannon of Johnson City, TN; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Tom Cloyd of Chapel Hill, NC and Kay and John �Bubba� Woodfin of Murfreesboro, TN. Several nieces and nephew also survive.



Graveside and interment services will be held Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. in the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with Rev. Gary MacWorter officiating.



The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until time for service.
