Mrs. Margaret S. "Cis" Kenefick, 86, of Cartersville, died Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at her residence.
Born March 16, 1927 in Manhattan, NY, she was a daughter of the late John Summers and the late Jean Findlater Summers. Mrs. Kenefick was of the Christian Faith and enjoyed knitting and watching classic movies. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Summers, and a sister, Gloria Shaughnessy.
Survivors include her husband of over 63 years, Tim Kenefick; children, Timothy Kenefick and his wife Linda of Goose Creek, SC, Jean E. Orcutt and her husband Lowell of Oxnard, CA, Thomas Kenefick and his wife Jody of Riverside, CA, Mark Kenefick of Oceanside, CA, Kathleen Bowling of Redding, CA, and Eileen Kennefick of Cartersville; 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date, and suggest that those who wish make donations to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org or 250 Williams St., Atlanta, GA 30303-1002 in memory of Mrs. Kenefick.
