Margaret Slate, 82, of Cartersville passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Maple Ridge Nursing Home. Born on July 21, 1929 in Atlanta she was the daughter of the late William B. Graham and the late Annie Leigh Brown Graham.
Margaret had been employed at the Marietta Daily Journal and attended Grace Baptist Church and Community Christian Church.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, John Thomas Jordan (Anna), Angela Denise Rogers (Elmer), Ronald Alan Jordan (Jamie) and Teresa Lynn Whitfield (Jim); her brother, Joseph Graham; and her sister, Elsie Joan Hall; twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with the Reverend Doug Harris and the Reverend Michael Kean officiating. Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 � 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
