Margaret Willis

Margaret Louise Willis, 79, of Cartersville passed away Thursday, July 23, 2009, at Cartersville Medical Center. Born in Bartow County on March 17, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Jake Cochran, Sr. and the late Virginia Colene Cochran. Louise was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and gardening. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gordon O. Willis, who passed away Nov. 21, 1994; her brother, Harold Cochran; and her sister, Dot Elrod Greene.



Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Charles Willis, Sr. and his wife Lynda of Cartersville; her grandchildren, Charles Willis, Jr. and his wife Kerri of Cleveland, TN, Shawn Willis and his wife Anne of Cleveland, TN, and Anja Ferguson and her husband Jermey of Cartersville; her great-grandchildren, Chase, Gable, and Virginia Willis, Sarah and Hannah Willis all of Cleveland, TN; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Don Cochran and his wife Marcella of Calhoun and Jake Cochran, Jr. and his wife Joan of Cartersville; her sister and brother-in-law, Donna Howren and her husband Gary of Cartersville.



Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 25, 2009, in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Ralph Shook officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.



Serving as pallbearers will be David, Chris, Rusty, Todd and Dean Cochran and Gary Chapman. These gentlemen are asked to meet at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Saturday at 1:15 p.m.



The family will receive friends on Friday, July 24, 2009,at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services from 6 � 9 p.m.
