Margaret Young

Margaret B. Young, 84, of Lawrenceville died Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at the DeKalb Medical Center. Born in Floyd County on May 7, l923, she was the daughter of the late Harold Arthur Black, Sr. and the late Grace Lee Dunaway Black. Mrs. Young loved sewing, fishing and caring for her husband. She was also a great cook. Preceding her in death are her parents and her husband of 49 years, D.W. Young.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Walton Young and his wife Suzanne of Duluth; her grandson, Matthew Young and his wife Suzanne of Douglasville; her great-granddaughter, Alethia Suzanne (Allie) Young of Douglasville; and other extended family.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 23, 2007 in the Kingston Cemetery with Rev. Joe Nix officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
