Margie Anderson

Marjorie "Margie" Smith Anderson, 73, of Cartersville Georgia, passed away at home on December 10, 2021.

Born on October 17, 1948 in Dublin, Georgia, Margie was the daughter of the late Walter & Evelyn Smith. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband Lamar Anderson.

Margie is survived by her brother, Donnie Smith (Pam), her son Eric Germundsen (Patti), son Marc Germundsen, as well as 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Margie loved traveling and attending yard sales. One of her favorite pastimes was bird watching and taking photos of her birds. This, and spending time with her family and friends, brought her the most happiness. She was a loving and caring mother, sister, wife, and friend.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Dave Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Cartersville, GA. Family will receive friends from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 prior to the funeral service at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Austin Smith, Avery Smith, Shannon Holcomb, Hunter Germundsen, Eric Germundsen, and Tristan Townsend.
