Margie Mullins

Mrs. Margie Lee Mullins, 87, of Cartersville, passed away Friday, November 08, 2013 at Cartersville Medical Center. A native of Bartow County, born April 10, 1926, she was the daughter of the late James Richard Welchel and the late Rebecca Shepard Welchel.
Mrs. Mullins was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and was retired from Worley & Schilling Insurance and Property Management after 30 years. She was a great cook and was known for her biscuits. She was family orientated and loved spending time with them. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence C. Mullins; and her brothers, Ray and Doyle Welchel.
Mrs. Mullins is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Annette and John Kelly of Cartersville; siblings, Diane Barnette of Cartersville, Edna and Ronnie Simpson of Cartersville, Sybil Hembree of Calhoun and Betty Barfield of Reidsville, Don and Diane Welchel of Fairburn; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Pine Ridge Memorial Park in Kennesaw with the Reverend Joe Nix officiating.. The family will receive friends from Noon until 2:00 p.m., Sunday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
