Margie Snow

Mrs. Margie Lee Snow, 79, of Taylorsville, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Redmond Regional Medical Center. Born on June 14, 1941 in Roswell, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Wade Garmon and Hattie Garmon. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Ansley Snow Jr.; her sons, Lloyd Brown, Kenny Brown; and several brothers and sisters.

Margie loved animals and planting flowers. She loved family get-togethers at her house, birthdays, holidays and being around family. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved getting her hair done and painting nails. She loved playing bingo and making beaded jewelry with her granddaughters.

Survivors include her son, Jackie Brown (Cathy), step-children;Tommy Brown, Randall Brown, Terry Brown, Greg Brown, Stephen Snow and Karla Olson; her grandchildren, Christy King (Tony), Jason Brown; her great-grandchildren, Courtney Penson, Shelby Stewart; her great-great-grandchild, Kinsley Penson; many step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Monday, August 31, 2020 at the funeral home. Due to Covid-19, social distancing guidelines will be followed.
