Maria Antonia Medina, 74, of Cartersville Georgia, passed away on November 2, 2022 at her home.
Born on July 28, 1948, she is the daughter of Carlos Rivera Ortega and Leonarda Rivera Torres. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Carlos Rivera; and her grandmother, Isaias Feliciano Sousa.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bonifacio Medina; her children, Lloyd Tracy Medina and Tracie Roxanne Moehl; her grandchildren, Alexandra Nicole Medina, Enrique Anthony Medina, Mercedes Isabella Moehl and Christopher Michael Moehl Jr; friends, Jeanne Avera and Mae Jennings; and her cats, Jinxy and Q-man.
Maria was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved to dance and was a wonderful cook and baker. She was very creative and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Her favorite movie was Casa Blanca and she watched it all the time. She could fill any room with her energy and had the best laugh in the world. To know her was to love her.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, November 7, 2022 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment for Georgia National Cemetery will be held at a later late.
