Marian Gore

Marian Delores Gore, 86, of Cartersville passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Cartersville Medical Center.

Born on May 2, 1934 in Cartersville she was the daughter of the late Ernest Tidwell and the late Frankie Howell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Gore.

Marian was a member of Racoon Creek Baptist Church. Her greatest interest and hobby was her passion for antiques and she made a career as a dealer. She loved her family with all her heart.

Survivors include her sons, Gary Thacker (Melody), Greg Thacker (Louisa), Ernie Gore, and Ronald Gore (Lynn); her daughter Charlotte Gore; eight grandchildren; and six step-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Patrick Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 7, 2020 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Serving as pallbearers will be Gregory Gore, Geoffrey Gore, Alan Thacker, Cary Thacker, Dan Thacker, Terry Thacker, Rob Gore, and Ron Gore. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Edward White.
