Marie Bonner

Hazel Marie Bonner (known to all as Marie) passed away quietly on December 5, 2021 at Kennestone Hospital after being injured in a car accident.
Marie was active in her community. She was a member of a senior singing group and a Sunday School teacher at her church, Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Her family was the most important thing in her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Oscar, two of her children, Todd and Theresa and her brother John David.
She was survived by her fiance, Marshall Woods and her children: Miller Bonner, Oscar Bonner, Jr.(Roxie), Nina Bryson (Bill), Chris Bonner (Lisa), and Terri Kendrick(John). She also had grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved very much. They are: Danny Bryson (Caroline) and his children Henry and Elizabeth, Samantha Vander Kooi and her children Parker Vander Kooi and James Mason, Michael Bryson (Jessica), Crissy Griffin (Shane) and her children Caylee and Tabitha, Casey Bonner, Ashley Bonner and her son Lukas Blackwell, Jessica Bonner and her children Hayden and Jayden Johnson, Averie and Sadie Steelman, Oscar Bonner III (Kayla) and his children Alenna and Colton, Katie Bonner and her children Jonathan and Jared, Michael Rogers, Matthew Bonner, Kevin Bonner and Jonathan Kendrick. She is also survived by her siblings James Bailey, Thelma Redding, Clay Bailey and Don Bailey and all of the nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. She had special friends Andrew Alexander, Kyle Steelman, Reece Alexander, Ramey Alexander, Angel Steelman, Tristen Steelman, and Natalie Steelman who called her Memaw.
Her memorial will be held at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Kingston, Ga on December 18, 2021 at 4pm.
