Marie Bramlett

September 8, 1932 — March 24, 2008

Marie Bramlett, 75, of 166 Leek Rd., Adairsville, died Monday, March 24, 2008 at her residence. Born September 9, 1932 in Canton, Ga., daughter of the late Henry Payne and Kinous Childers. Marie was an active member of Cassville Baptist Church and well known as an extreme prayer warrior. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed gardening and caring for other people.

Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Laverne and Dewey Hardin of Adairsville, two grandchildren, Darin Hardin, his wife Julie of Adairsville, and Donna Ramsey and her husband Junior of Cosby, TN, three great grandchildren, Hunter Ramsey and Davis and Megan Hardin, her brother and sister in law, J. H. and Marcelle Payne of Canton, her nephew, Kenneth Payne of Canton, her niece Faye Lynn McAllister of Rockmart, and a very special friend Elmer Howard. Preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, John Bramlett, her brother Cecil Payne, her sister Parilee Payne.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Pallbearers will be Paul Moody, Ronald Smith, Smokey Huff, Kenneth Payne, David King, and Michael Bramlett. Pallbearers are requested to be at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cassville Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 568, Cassville, GA. 30123.

The family will receive friends Tuesday 12 – 9 p.m. at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
