Mrs. Martha Marie Alexander, 52, of Cartersville, died Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at her residence following an extended illness.
A native of Bartow County, Martha was born August 8, 1960, to the late Wallace Dewitt Mulkey and the late Thelma Morris Mulkey.
Survivors include her children, Javelin Alexander of Cartersville and Dewayne Westbrooks of Fairmount; her sisters, Lenell Pope of Cartersville and Judy Haygood and her husband David of Calhoun; her brothers, Joel, Ott and Porkey Mulkey all of Cartersville; a special longtime friend, Pete Nelson of Cartersville; a very special niece, Vera Evans and numerous other nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 22, 2012 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Roland Lee officiating.
