Martha Blumenfeld

Martha �Sissy� Blumenfeld, 62, of Kingston passed away Sunday, November 30, 2008. A native of Bartow County, Martha was born February 18, 1946 to the late James Edward Potts and the late Essie E. Dover Potts. She was of the Pentecostal faith and prior to her retirement worked at Cartersville Spinning as a machine operator. Martha is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Evelyn Culver; and her brother, John Potts.



Survivors include her husband, Mike Blumenfeld of Cartersville; her daughter, Rhonda Proctor of Kingston; her son, Jamie Blumenfeld of Kingston; two step-children, Michael Blumenfeld Michelle Blumenfeld, both of Douglasville; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother and sister-in-law, Bud and Barbara Potts of Kingston; and two sisters, Sybil Croy of Cartersville and Virginia Hatten of Alma.



Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. C.E. Wilkey and Rev. Michael Abernathy officiating. Burial will follow in the Kingston Cemetery.



Serving as pallbearers will be Eddie Proctor, Timothy Proctor, Chris Proctor, James Croy, Charles Culver, Charlie Culver and Harold Dean Dupree. These gentlemen are asked to meet at the funeral home by 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday.



The family will receive friends from 5 � 9 p.m. Tuesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.



The family would also like to express special thanks to Aseracare Hospice and caregivers, James and Billie Sue Croy and Gwen Dyer for their help in time of need.
