Martha Sewell

Martha Ann Sewell, 90 of Adairsville, passed away on March 2, 2025 at her residence. She was born on March 6, 1934 to Jack Cowart and Alice Cowart. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings Jacqueline Cowart, A.B. Cowart, Lily Pratt, Grace Adcock, Alma Watson, and Douglas Cowart.

She is survived by her children, John Sewell (late Valarie Sewell), Beth Coleman, Connie Carver (Jesse), and Candi Moyer (Robert); her grandchildren Brandon and Spencer Sewell, Kyle and Jariah Adcock, Jessica Mulkey and Kimmy Moyer; several great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Caroline Cowart, Bobbie Wyatt, Patsy Vines, Sara Shuler, Marion Shook, and Hughlon Cowart.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 6, 2025 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Pastor Vince Gulledge officiating. Family and friends are welcome at 12:30 to 1:00 pm prior to the service. Burial will follow at Hayes Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Ray, Landon Hamilton, Kyle Adcock, Jariah Adcock, Bryant Womack and Jesse Carver.
