Martha Short

Mrs. Martha Jane Stewart (Aunt Poo Poo) Short, age 47, died on Monday, March 14, 2016 at Pruitt Health Care in Rome. Born in Harlan, Kentucky on May 9, 1968, she was the daughter of the late Green Stewart and Eula Spradlin Stewart.

She is survived by her husband, William M. Short; her sons, Johnathon and Christian Short; her grandchildren, Tylen McCoy Short and Kayden Lee Short; her sister, Karen Goodlett; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tony, Kristi, Destiny and Hope Short and Lisa and Dale Peters.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Pastor Mike Boatfield officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
