Mary Pearl Bagley, 70, of Cartersville passed away Friday, September 18, 2009 at the Cartersville Medical Center. Born June 1, 1939 in Bartow County, she was the daughter of the late Dewey Ray and the late Gladys Parris Ray.
Mary had been employed by Shaw Industries until her retirement. She was known for being a good person, a dear and loving mother, and a kind sister and grandmother.
Survivors include her daughters and son-in-laws, Renea and Eddie Dowdy and Melissa and John Cox, all of Cartersville; her brother, J.L. Ray of Cartersville; her sisters, Helen Crowe of Cassville and Grace Dover of Cartersville; her grandchildren and their spouses, Lacey and Levon Bowling, Jerica and Joshua Amos, Twila and Thomas Poston, Dusty Dowdy, and Erin Dowdy, all of Cartersville; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews including two special nieces, Pam Hoffman and Charmin Eden.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Rayford Davenport officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery in Kingston.
Serving as pallbearers will be Lynn Abernathy, Lamar Abernathy, Joshua Amos, Michael Gossett, Bill Eden, and Jonathan Jacobs.
The family will receive friends from 6 � 9 p.m. Saturday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
