Mary Carlisle

Mrs. Mary Alice Fricks Carlisle, age 92, of Rome, GA died Sunday, October 4, 2009 in a Rome healthcare facility.



Mrs. Carlisle was the daughter of the late George Franklin Fricks and Mary Eunice Freeman Fricks Campbell. In addition to her parents Mrs. Carlisle was preceded in death by her husbands, Walter Lawrence Funderburk and Buford Lanier Davis; by her sisters, Mable Fricks Payne and Louise Fricks Padgett and by brothers, Alfred, Irvine and Hubert Fricks.



Survivors include her husband, Joseph C. Carlisle, Sr. of Douglasville, GA; children Leon and Linda Hatcher of Waycross, GA, Nancy and Earl Johnson of Douglasville, Ga and Joseph C. Carlisle, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV, seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.



Graveside and interment services will be held Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with Mr. Caldwell Canada officiating.
