Mrs. Mary Ann Emily Carter, 63, of Rome, died Friday, July 29, 2011 at Cartersville Medical Center. She was born in Rockford, Illinois, September 21, 1947, and was the daughter of the late Raymond Joseph France. Preceding her in death along with her parents is her husband, James Larry Carter.
Mrs. Carter was a member of the Savior of All Lutheran Church and was employed by Floyd County Jail as a nurse. She was actively involved in Saving Others World Wide.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Heike Tate of Rome; her brother, Raymond Charles France of Denver, Colorado; and her grandchildren, Julia and John K. Tate.
Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville is in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Mary Ann Emily Carter.
