Mary Cory

Mary Virginia Cory, age 58, sadly passed away on September 17, 2022, at her home in Cartersville, Georgia.

Mary was born on July 15, 1964 in Virginia Beach, Virginia to her loving parents, James and Fay Hardman. She was a wonderful woman and a woman of great faith. Mary loved her husband, children, parents, and sisters with all her heart. Mary was always a caring and protective woman who would give you anything you needed if she had the way to do so and she would go without to make it happen. Mary loved to knit, crochet, and tat and was always doing some kind of crafting to keep her mind busy. She would always be there to listen to you and try to offer a good sensible solution to resolve any problem and would pray with you to help you get through it.
Mary will truly be missed by her family, friends, and everyone she came into contact with.

She is survived by her adoring husband of 26 years, Robert Cory; her parents James and Fay, her children Jacob Langemoore (Tori), Nick Moore, Amy Cory (Jonathon Avery), and James Cory; her grandchild Vyxen; her sisters Ann Thacker (Joey) and Jean Owens (Robert), as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Mary is preceded in death by her sister Rebecca Thomas.

A visitation will be held for Mary at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mary's family will be hosting a memorial service at a later date.

Mary, may you rest in peace and enjoy your journey home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. You will be forever in our hearts.
