Mrs. Mary Frances Darnell, 88, of Cartersville, died Sunday, December 9, 2012 at her residence.
Born August 8, 1924 in Cartersville, she was one of 12 children, 7 boys and 5 girls, born to the late Scott Elbert Templeton and the late Mattie Pearl Martin Templeton. Mrs. Darnell was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking for her family, working in the garden, and taking care of her grand babies.
Survivors include her son, Murell Darnell of Cartersville; granddaughters, Myra Bennett and her husband Michael of Cartersville, and Melissa Cagle and her husband Tommy of Rydal; 8 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Reverend Sammy Adams officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service.
