Mary Jean was one of a kind and a had a very colorful personality. She loved time spent with friends and family and always enjoyed making people laugh. She had a heart for animals and loved her own animals as if they were her children. Mary Jean enjoyed music and going to concerts in her younger days. She loved getting out of the house when she was able and going to eat at Doug's Place in Emerson, shopping, getting her nails done, and going to the hairdresser. She also enjoyed going to church with her special aunt, Betty Sue Keeling, at Bethany Baptist Church in Emerson, Georgia, where she was a member.
Although Mary Jean had suffered from many health problems over much of her life, she always seemed to have a positive outlook and was quick to offer a smile or something funny to say. She will certainly be missed. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.
The family would like to express a special thank you to caregivers Kathy Smith and Miss E.
