Mary Gregory

Mary Keyes Gregory, 83, of Cartersville died Saturday, February 21, 2009 at her residence. She was born on July 29, 1925 in Cartersville and was the wife of the late Lona Gregory and the daughter of the late Bud Keyes and Zoella Bennet Keyes. She was also preceded in death by her brother Paul Keyes, and her granddaughter Lori Gilbert. Mrs. Gregory lived in Cartersville all her life and was known for being full of energy, she was a member of the Center Baptist Church and she loved to plant and take care of her garden.



Survivors include her son and daughter in law, James and Carolyn Gregory of Cartersville; her daughters and sons-in-law, Kitty and Ronnie Harris of Cartersville and Martha and Charlie Lochridge of Euharlee; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.



Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2009 at Sunset Memory Gardens with the Rev. Harley Gayton officiating, burial will follow. Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Kown, Evan Ingram, Walter Krickich, Alec Floyd, Darryl Ayers and Adam Kown. These gentlemen are asked to meet at the funeral home by 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
