Mary Hughes

Ms. Mary Earline Hughes, age 64, of Rome, GA, died Monday, October 5, 2009 in a hospital in Gadsden, AL.



Ms. Hughes was born in Chattooga County, GA on April 11, 1945, the daughter of the late Henry Earl Hughes and Mary Ethel McWhorter Hughes. Ms. Hughes was a member of the Church of God faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Barbara Hall and brother-in-law Rocky Hall.



Survivors include a niece Darlene Payne of Plainville, Ga; great-niece, Ericka Silvers of Plainville, Ga; a great-nephew, Brandon Silvers of Plainville, Ga, a great-great-niece,

Paysleigh Stepp and great-great-nephew, Wade Stepp. A very special friend Keith Holbert of Plainville, Ga.



Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 4:00 P.M. in the Heritage Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings & Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Banks officiating.



In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be made to the Shriners, % The Rome Shrine Club, 109 Bells Ferry Road, Rome, GA. 30161.
