Mary Virginia Fargus Kling 87, of Cartersville died Sunday January 8, 2017 at Mount Berry Hospice in Rome Georgia. She was born August 7, 1929 in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania to the late Adrian and Agnes Douty Fargus.
Mary retired from Penn State University and was a pianist and choir director at Clintondale United Methodist church. She enjoyed reading, loved listening to music and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband Robert Kling.
Survivors include her daughter, Cindy (Robert) Fetzer; her son Robert (Beverly) Kling; grandchildren, Angela Vanderberg, Jennifer (Jason) Anthony, Robert Kling Jr., Michael (Ashley) Kling and five great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Clintondale United Methodist Church in Clintondale, Pennsylvania at a later date.
