Mary Ann Brewer Knight, 62, of Rydal passed away on Friday, September 27, 2013 at her residence.
Born October 18, 1950 in Cartersville she was the daughter of the late Herman Brewer and Maye Weaver Brewer Matthews Wells. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Danny Joe Knight. Mrs. Knight was a bookkeeper for Tallatoona EOA until her retirement and a member of Pleasant Olive Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother; her daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Dwight Scissel; her sons and daughters-in-law, Wesley and Sherry Knight, Jason and Teena Marie Knight, and Jeremy and Kim Knight; her sisters, Donna Brewer Perry, Allison Brewer Brown, and Mary Frances Matthews; thirteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren and special friends, Carol Brown and Linda Leachman.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 30, 2013 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Boatfield, Reverend Wayne Richmond and Reverend Adam Toole officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers are Timmy Wilson, Bobby Wilson, Jerry Richmond, Don Allred, Brad Camp, Mickey Reed, Travis Scoggins and Justin Finnemore. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Lamar Adcock, Billy Moore, Frankie "Rink" Martin, Johnny Leachman, Joe Brown, Jerry Maye, Wayne Richmond and John Darden.
