Mary Patricia "Pat" Johnsey (Haney)

Mary Patricia "Pat" Johnsey (Haney), 86 of Emerson, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 6, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Emerson, Georgia to the late Doc Haney and the late Alma Patterson Haney. Pat is also preceded in death by her husband, Carl "Skid" Johnsey; siblings, Robert Haney, Lorene Ferguson, Hollis Haney, Lena Goss, WillaRae McPherson, Ronald Haney, and Kerry Haney; son, Derek Johnsey; and grandchild, Hope Bennett.
She is survived by her daughter, Kim (Phil) Bennett of Rydal; son, Dr. Carl Johnsey Jr. of Buford; grandchildren, Rebecca (Kevin) Ray of White and Tori (Shane) Tucker of Williamsburg, VA; 5 great grandchildren, Bennett, Emalee, Connor, Ellie Ray, and Abigail Tucker; a very special Fur Baby, Disco; brother, Barry (Diane) Haney of Adairsville; and lots of special nieces and nephews.
Pat loved to take care of her yard and flowers.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Amedisys Health Care and T&T Home Care for the loving care shown to their mom.
To honor Pat's wishes, there will be no formal visitation or ceremony. The family will be having a private burial at Johnsey Cemetery on Monday, June 10, 2024.
