Mary Renfrow

Mrs. Mary Lillian Renfrow, age 79, of 4140 Old Hwy 9, Cedar Bluff, AL, died Sunday, March 2, 2008, at her residence.

Mrs. Renfrow was born in Cordova, AL, on March 6, 1928, the daughter of the late Andrew Woodard and Gertrude Lillian Bullock Woodard. She was employed with Wal-mart after thirty years of service. Also, Mrs. Renfrow was a homemaker and enjoyed painting, arts and crafts. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Renfrow is preceded in death by her husband, James Renfrow; two sons, Dan George and Theodore Nydegger; and a brother, Carl Woodard.

Mrs. Renfrow is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Nick and Christine Nydegger of Boise, Idaho; a daughter, Meredith Kay Lancaster of Ripley, MS; eight grandchildren; and two sisters, Mamie Elizabeth Smith of Centre, AL and Betty LaPean of Rome. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 6, 2008, at 2:00 P.M. in the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home with Dr. Tony Brooks and Rev. Katrina Brooks officiating. Interment will follow in the Floyd Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Renfrow will remain in the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Thursday from noon until the funeral hour.
