Mary Richey

Mary R. Richey, 48, of Cartersville passed away Friday, June 26, 2009 at the Cartersville Medical Center. Born November 16, 1960 in Bartow County, she was the daughter of Jessie Sanford and Shirley Lowe Sanford. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Ann Edalgo and Sue Commons. Mary had been employed as a manager at Wendy�s and at Krystal�s. She also attended Center Baptist Church.



Survivors include her husband, Jerry Richey; her daughter, Jessica Matthews; her mother and step-father, Shirley and Frank Sanford; her father and step-mother Jessie and Libby Sanford; her brother and sister-in-law, Jessie and Laura Sanford; her step-brothers, Randall Smith and Eddie Smith of Cartersville; and several nieces and nephews.



Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2009 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Donnie Summey, Rev. Roland Lee, and Rev. Mark Somers officiating. Burial will follow in Shinall Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Roger Crist, Michael Crist, Shawn Sanford, J.T. Sanford, Randall Smith, and Rodney Porter.



The family will receive friends from 6 � 9 p.m. Tuesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
