Mary Inez Roberson (Ray) passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025. Born on January 20, 1971, she was the daughter of the late Harley Ray and Linda Hightower Ray. Along with her father, she is preceded in death by her aunt, Rudy Hulsey; and mother-in-law, Brenda Roberson.
Mary loved spending time with her grandkids. She would oftentimes be seen cooking in person and online. She enjoyed being outdoors and going camping and fishing.
Survivors include her loving husband, Greg Roberson; sons, Matthew and Isaac Roberson; mother, Linda Ray; grandchildren, Silas and Lilah Roberson; sister, Wendy (Benny) Patterson; brother, Walter Ray; father-in-law, Cliff Roberson; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Cartersville Church of the Covenant with Pastor Andrew Hight officiating. Burial will follow at Kingston Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers are Elijah Ray, Wayne Roberson, Bobby Ray, Rob Slatton, Tyler Slatton, and Carson Williams.
