Mary Duvall White, 72, of Cartersville passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Redmond Regional Medical Center. Born May 3, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Paul DeWitt Duvall and the late Allie Mae Bunch Duvall. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Carl Duvall, Rev. Albert Duvall, and Alfred Vaughn.
Mary was a beautiful lady, both inside and out, and enjoyed living life to the fullest. Mary was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Leon White of Cartersville; her son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Marcy White of Woodstock; two granddaughters, Marlo White and MaKenzie White of Woodstock; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Trammell and Shelby Duvall, Paul �Buck� and Joann Duvall, and Ruth Duvall, all of Cartersville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 4, 2010 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Larry Bohannon and Rev. Donnie Summey officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Duvall, Tyler Duvall, Tim Duvall, Chris Holmes, Mike Kiser, and Luke Holcomb. Honorary pallbearers will be Marty Smith, Tony Smith, Kenny Smith, Calvin Duvall, and Chuck Nichols. These gentlemen are requested to meet at the funeral home by 1:15 p.m. on Friday.
The family will receive friends from 6 � 9 p.m. Thursday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
