Marvine loved the outside working in her huge garden, canning, mowing grass and running a garden tiller until age 90, and all things "flowers". She loved basketball and was voted an allstar for Peeples Valley School, 1946. She was the oldest member of Cananland Christian Center, and loved reading her bible. She worked at Jean's BBQ as a cook for many years, ran a church day-care for many kids who still fondly remember her. In her younger years, picked cotton and milked cows on the family farm. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She did substitute teaching with Bartow Co. Schools in her younger years. She was "Aunt Marvine" to all that knew her.
A special "Thank You" to "All" the staff at Chulio Hills Rehab, Rome GA; The Gardens of Rome Assisted Living; Floyd Hospital, Dr. Bushnell, and Nicole at Tapestry Hospice for the outpouring of love, compassion, support, and care shown during her journey.
