Mr. Michael Allen �Cold Tater� Dean, age 45, of 1921 Fosters Mill Road, Rome, GA passed Thursday, September 17, 2009 suddenly at his residence.
Mike was born in Floyd County, GA on March 15, 1964 son of Ann and Larry Cordle.
Mr. Dean was a self-employed mechanic.
Survivors include his parents Ann and Larry Cordle; father, Francis Allen Dean Roe of Cedartown, GA; children,Todd and Matt Dean of Cedartown, GA, Keisha and Josh Wells of Griffin, GA, Alexis Dean of Coosa and Stephen Wells of Savannah. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Wayne Johnson of Coosa, Brian and Jamie Cordle of Lindale, Gene and Debbie Cordle of Rome, B.J. Cordle, Stacey and Shane Wright of Rome and Mike and Cindy Cordle of Canton, N.C. Special aunt and uncle, Debbie and Jerry Marshall. A number of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles also survive.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 21, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the Oaknoll Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings & Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Byars and Rev. Roger Loveless officiating. Interment will be in the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the Oaknoll Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings & Miller Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers: Todd and Matt Dean, Gene Cordle, Brian Cordle, Wayne Johnson, Shane Wright, Tommy Cordle and Mike Cordle. Honorary pallbearers are Calvin Tolbert, Randall Cordle and B.J. Cordle.
