Michael Ferrell

Mr. Michael Eugene Ferrell, 58, of Cartersville, died Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Cartersville Medical Center. He was born in New Castle, Indiana on September 16, 1959 and was the son of Gary F. Ferrell and the late Janice Clouse Ferrell.
Mr. Ferrell attended Cartersville Church of Christ. He enjoyed riding his motorcycles and trading cars. He was known to be a big cut up and took great pleasure in getting his nieces and nephews riled up.
Survivors include his father and step-mother, Gary F. Ferrell and wife Jean; his daughter, Michelle Gauerke and husband Dan; his brother, Tim Ferrell; his sister, Marshelle Walker and husband Mike; one grandson, Waylon Gauerke; nieces and nephews, Teaira Ferrell, Dusty Walker and wife Mandi and Derek Walker and wife Brittny; along with several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, 2018 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Bobby Gayton officiating. Interment will follow in Rolling Hills Cemetery in Acworth. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
