Michael Johnson

January 9, 1939 — July 7, 2024

Michael Farris Johnson, 85, of Dallas Georgia, passed away on July 7, 2024, at Roselane Health & Rehab.

He was born on January 9, 1939, in Cedartown, Georgia, to the late Lucille Kettlewell.

Survivors include his sons, Tony Johnson (Terri) and Chris Johnson (Casey); and his grandchildren, Grace Johnson and Lana Johnson.

Michael worked as a quality control manager for Coats & Clark in Acworth for over 36 years. He never said anything negative about anybody. Michael also worked as a janitor for North Cobb High School for 10 years; this is where he collected lost items to be used by his children and grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2024, in the Jennings Funeral Home chapel with Brother Todd Maloney officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, prior to the service.
