Michael Lee Kaylor, 30, of Cartersville passed away Monday, February 9, 2009 at the Cartersville Medical Center. Born September 14, 1978 in Austell, he was the son of Wayne Kaylor and Janet Brown Kaylor. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary and William Brown and Lloyd and Jewell Kaylor, and his grandson, Jaylon Blasengame.
Michael was a cook at the Waffle House on Martin Luther King Drive in Cartersville. He was a family man who loved playing with his grandson, Jesse. Michael also enjoyed fishing, playing video games, and listening to country music. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends who loved him.
Survivors include his wife, Renae Kaylor of Cartersville; his stepdaughters and son-in-law, Samantha Smith and Tiffany and A.J. Degner, all of Cartersville; his grandson, Jesse Franklin; his mother and father, Janet and Wayne Kaylor of Cartersville; his brothers and sister-in-law, Jeff and Tracy Kaylor, Chris Kaylor, and Robbie Kaylor, all of Cartersville; his aunts and uncles, Lloyd and Sandra Kaylor of Winder and Ellen and Floyd DeJournett of Douglasville; 5 nephews, 3 nieces; and numerous cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2009 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Roland Fred Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Rydal.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Kaylor, Chris Kaylor, Robbie Kaylor, A.J. Degner, Anthony Collum, and Tom Sullo. Gentlemen serving as pallbearers are requested to meet at the funeral home by 1:15 p.m. on Friday.
The family will receive friends from 5 � 9 p.m. Thursday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
