Michael D. Kuwamoto, 60, of San Leandro, California passed away Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born October 27, 1952 in Berkley, California he was the son of the late Shinobu Hank Kuwamoto, of California and the late Delores Elizabeth Carter Kuwamoto, of Georgia.
Michael was retired from retail and restaurant management and was a member of Faith Fellowship Church in San Leandro, California. Mike and Rhonda had resided in Phoenix, Arizona, El Paso, Texas, Gallup, New Mexico and currently in San Leandro, California.
Survivors include his wife of twenty-five years, Rhonda Minter Kuwamoto; his mother-in-law, Marilyn Stephens; his sister-in-law, Phyllis Minter; his niece, Audrey Miklitsch; and his brother-in-law, Steve Minter; his nieces and their spouses and children, Stacy Minter and Jake Sherwood and their son, Elliot Sherwood, Stefanie Minter-Hicks and Darren Hicks and their children, Abigail and Jerry Hicks; and cousins, Sheila Tyson and Floris Sakamoto; and several cousins and family in Hawaii.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Christ Worship Center Church of God of Prophecy, 3393 Canton Road, NE, Marietta, Ga. 30066-2612.
