Michael Leach

Mr. Michael David Leach, age 47, of Rome, GA, went to be with his mother in heaven where they will be together forever on Saturday, May 2, 2009, in a local hospital.



Mr. Leach was born in Washington County, TN on July 2, 1961 the son of Bill Leach and the late Mary Lou Willis Leach. He was a loving father, brother, and a son. Mr. Leach was an avid NASCAR fan. Also, he loved to hunt and fish.



In addition to his father Mr. Leach is survived by Carol Peak Leach; his spouse, Fran Smith; a son, Travis Leach; a daughter, China Leach; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Linda Leach, Debbie and Michael Nugent; and Sharon Jaco. Several nieces and nephews also survive.



Memorial service will be held Saturday, May 9, 2009, at 6:00 P.M. in the McGuire, Jennings, & Miller Oaknoll Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Max Tucker officiating.



The family will receive friends Saturday from 4:30 P.M. until the funeral hour in the McGuire, Jennings, & Miller Oaknoll Chapel Funeral Home.
