Michael Turner

Michael James Turner, 51, of Plainville passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024 at Advent Health Gordon.

Born on January 26, 1973 in Marietta he was the son of Denyse Smith McClure the late James Turner. He was also preceded in death by his uncle, Benny Turner.

In addition to his mother survivors include his wife, Katherine Munday Turner; his step-mother, Susan Turner; his children, Christopher Turner, Nicole Snider, and Landon Snider; his sister, Connie Chapman; and his brother, Albert Turner (Beth).

Michael was dedicated to his family and loved them will all his heart. He was also dedicated to God and was a great patriot with love for his country. Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, was a student of martial arts.

A funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2024 at Freedom Worship Center, 1941 Cassville Rd. NW, Cartersville, GA 30121, with Reverend Jon Goltz officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery of Bartow-Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Rydal. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Freedom Worship Center.

Serving as pallbearers will be Albert Turner, John Munday, Gary Turner, Jack Chapman, Landon Snider, and Justin Munday.
