Mrs. Michelle Antonio, 43, of Carterville, died suddenly Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Cartersville Medical Center.
Born July 4, 1971 in Lubbock, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Manuel Ojeda and Yolanda Rivera Ojeda. She was of the Christian faith and was employed by Pro Fire. Michelle was a very religious, giving and good hearted person. She always put others before herself and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
She is survived by her husband of two years, Jose Antonio; her children, Maria Monter (Gregorio), Johnathan, Rudy, Eric and Alex Betancourt and Ramey Betancourt (Azucena); her brother, Nino Ojeda; her sister, Melissa Ojeda; her granddaughter, Evelynn Monter along with two others on the way (Daniel Betancourt and Alan Monter); her nieces and nephew, Aliyah and Lilyanna Ojeda and Damian Ojeda; and Isabel and Henry Chip, whom she considered as her other mom and dad.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Young Street Baptist Church with The Reverend Donald Collum officiating. Mrs. Antonio will be carried to the church on Thursday to lie-in-state for one hour prior to the service.
