Michelle Waits

Michelle Poole Waits of White, Georgia passed away on November 12, 2023 in her home.  She is preceded in death by her husband Terry Waits, parents Willard D. and Lorene Poole.

Michelle is survived by her two sons Jacob (Amy) Waits and Zach (Jing Jing) Waits; her two grandchildren, Waverly Waits and John Waits; her brother David Poole and his son Michael Poole and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family would like to give special thanks to her friend Kathy Spradley for all of her help.

Michelle was a lifelong music lover. As a loving mother, she exemplified the teachings of compassion, forgiveness, and unconditional love. Her role as a grandmother allowed her to share the joy of faith with Waverly and John, leaving an indelible mark on their lives.

In this time of mourning, let us remember Michelle for the love she shared, the memories she created, and the lasting impact she had on the lives of her family and friends. May she rest in peace and her memory continue.

A memorial service will be held at Pine Log United Methodist Church in 3497 Pine Log Road  Rydal, GA 30171, on Thursday November 30th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
