Mike Freeman

Mike Freeman, 72, of Adairsville Georgia, passed away on January 18, 2023 at Kennestone Hospital.

Born on March 10, 1950, he is the son of the late James Roy Freeman and the late Doris Margaret Freeman. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson, Dustin Freeman; and his brother, Timothy Freeman.

Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Glenda Freeman; son, James Michael Freeman Jr; daughters, Janice Renee Freeman and Shelby Lynn Barrett; grandson, James Christopher; granddaughters, Victoria Payne, Jordynn Freeman, Lily Lynn Freeman, Carrie Barton, and Carisa Glover; ten great-grandchildren; siblings, Randy Freeman, Henry Freeman, Tommy Freeman, and Janice Ensley.

Mike was a loving husband, dad, and grandfather. He married his wife, Glenda, at a very young age and together they worked hard and took care of their family. He will be remembered fondly by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, January 26, 2023 in the funeral homes chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church in Adairsville, Georgia.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Ensley, Marty Webb, Austin Ensley, Henry Freeman, Victoria Payne, and Jordynn Freeman. Honorary pallbearers will include James Michael Freeman Jr. and James Christopher Freeman.
